Description:

Use this application to incorporate dynamic point-of-care ultrasound examinations into your medical simulations. It is suitable for training in both medical and surgical scenarios. Unlike other products in the medical simulation market, this app provides an affordable solution.

It is beneficial for training in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), anesthesiology, paramedicine, trauma teams, Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), and any other professionals who utilize ultrasound in their clinical practice.

The app allows you to connect two devices running the application via WiFi or Bluetooth - one device serves as a monitor and the other as a remote control held by the simulation observer. Clips are activated by pressing and holding a button on the remote while performing the simulated examination.

You can simulate comprehensive ultrasound examinations of the pleura, lung base, heart (including PLAX, A4C, and subcostal views), the three points of the FAST exam, femoral veins, and the aorta.

Create custom cases by assigning various pathologies such as pneumothorax, pneumonia, B-lines, pleural effusion, high and low ejection fractions, left and right ventricular infarction, tamponade, endocarditis, cardiac arrest scenarios with LUCAS compressions, type A dissection, hydronephrosis, aortic aneurysm, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and free abdominal fluid. Pathologies can be adjusted in real-time to simulate dynamic scenarios. Save and load cases to efficiently manage changes during your simulation.

The app features a CPR mode that facilitates access to clips demonstrating compressions, asystole, ventricular fibrillation (VFib), and normal contractions for training in ultrasound use during CPR pulse checks.

This versatile tool can be employed during training with mannequins or live actors and even serves as an examination aid for basic point-of-care ultrasound courses. Enhance fidelity by adding a probe to the monitor.

'Team Mode' allows multiple pairs of devices to remain connected without interference when used in close proximity to each other - up to 10 groups can use the app simultaneously.

Widely recognized and utilized globally by institutions like the ATACC course in Great Britain and Care Flight Australia among many others, this ultrasound simulator is highly recommended for medical simulation training.
